Vintage collage

This is a vintage collage that I decided to make which shows development on my idea of the vintage feel that I created with my sepia corpse. I first took a picture of a model sitting on the working surface next to the sink, in a way I have changed the background of this image by cutting the model out of the orginal image in photoshop. The photograph was taken from the inspiration of Linder Sterling, who we now see to have used vintage porn magazines and placing her models in feministic places holding appliances that we would generally think a woman would use. Taking my model out of the feministic place and placing her on a cloud could be seen as something that contrasts if thought of together, placing her in the sky could show her as someone who is free from feminism. This idea meets the brief as I have taken something out of their familiar scenes and made it obscure by placing them in unfamiliar surroundings.
