re-designing my advert

I wanted to redesign my advert because the watch didn't stand out as much as I wanted it to and it didn't seem to appeal to teenagers as I originally wanted it to. The whole advert had to e bold and bright so it would stand out from the rest and be funky. This is my old advert:

The font for the slogan blends in to much and the watch isn't big enough to make you look straight at it I also think that the black and white image distracts the person from looking at the watch. My first step to improving my advert was to look at the watch adverts by Kate Moross.

This advert by Kate Moross shows her using the backgrounds on the watches as the background to her advert. It's colourful and uses geometric shapes of different colours and this is something that I would like to interpret on mine.

Still using the textured background I have placed the purple texture underneath the red and have started cutting out triangles so the purple underneath comes through in certain places. I also decided to just make the image the watch on its own that way I could adjust the saturation and the lightness stand out more. I made a change on the purple textured background as well by just making it slightly darker so it didn't match the watch when it was put on.

This is my finished design without text, it does what I want and because I have centred the watch all eyes go to it. I've also made the logo a lot smaller as it is black and it would draw more attention than the watch. The jpeg version has shifted the triangles so they do not meet but this is not the case in the photo shopped version
